Canevel Spumanti and Diesel, the iconic international lifestyle fashion brand, present a new CDO Organic Extra Brut Prosecco, a co-branding project by both companies, inspired by a shared vocation for sustainability.

Made exclusively from Glera grapes sourced from selected organic vineyards, The “Casa Canevel- Diesel” Prosecco is the result of a lengthy process pursued naturally with a single fermentation: the vinification and spumante-making process take place continuously, using nothing other than fermented grape must, free from added sucrose. The result is a superior quality wine that fully respects the product’s naturalness and the aromatic component of Glera. The aroma prevails unaltered in the finished product, which is characterised by a triumph of fruity notes of green apples, fresh citrus and white flowers, balanced by a low residual sugar level (5 grams/litre). The perlage is fine and elegant.

Diesel designed the outfit for the new Prosecco, renowned for its innovative and nonconformist aesthetics, conceiving the label and packaging using decisive gold and bright green notes.

VALDOBBIADENE Prosecco Superiore docg BRUT SETÀGE – 92 points

Aromas of lemon and green melon take on a heap of fresh cream on the palate. Gentle fizz. Long, creamy flavors.

VALDOBBIADENE Superiore di Cartizze docg DRY – 91 points

A lively, well-poised Prosecco with a tight bead of lemons, minerals and white flowers on the nose, turning slightly sweeter on the plate, but no less compact and well-placed. Nice, supportive fizz and a clean finish with some length. Drink now.

CASA CANEVEL Prosecco doc BRUT – 90 points

Aromas and flavors of sweet, yellow apples and some ash. Dry, bubbly palate with a hint of salty mineral coloring the finish. Drink now.

CASA CANEVEL Prosecco Rosé doc BRUT (selected markets only) – 90 points

Red-peach aromas with some raspberries and rose petals. Dense fruit flavors on the palate with tight bubbles and lots of acidity, which creates a slightly yoghurt-like feel at the end. But pleasant enough. Drink now.

The wire cage for the 2014 Cartizze is the result of the imagination and commitment of nine hundred or so children at the Primary Schools in Valdobbiadene.
Class 5A from the San Francesco di Assisi School, thanks to the work of one of its pupils, has been awarded the First Prize for CARTIZZE DI CLASSE. It has been handed over directly to the School Head to buy teaching materials for the winning group.
