Located in the hills of Prosecco, recently recognised as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Canevel is a rare institution in Valdobbiadene, dealing with all aspects of production, from grape cultivation to vinification and the sparkling process.
In the local dialect “Canevel” means “little cellar”, where the best wines are kept, with their secrets and traditions. Visitors are welcome to tour the property and taste its sparkling wines, which are strongly characterised by freshness, fragrance and unique complexity.
The tour of the “château” begins with the Glera vineyards that surround it, and goes up to a small hill surrounded by vines which provides a belvedere over the beautiful surrounding countryside. It then goes on to the cellars to examine the production method, before finishing with a delightful tasting.
Wine tasting visits are available by reservation:
– from Monday to Saturday at 11.00 am and at 15.00 pm
– on Sundays at 10.00 am
